Zanglish is a word coined by the Chrysalis magazine referring to various popular English phrases spoken in Zambia. A phrase commonly heard is "Where is my Christmas?" meaning "Where is my gift?"
- Why did you call this site Zanglish?
To select a name for the site, we held a contest on Bwanji.com A member on the site by the name of Kalibur won the competition for the number of suggestions for possible domain names for the site. However, after looking at the domain names suggested and the popularity of the word Zanglish we decided to go with the more popular word.
